How do we select
the resources?

We created Wow Science to help children discover and enjoy
learning. The resources are carefully selected and tested to
make sure your child can enjoy the best science resources
available on the website.

We work with the Primary Science Teaching Trust to ensure
that the content is accurate and useful to learning.

Are they safe?

All the links to resources on the site have been tested to make
sure your child can enjoy learning safely.

Wow Science is not responsible for the other content on external
Internet sites.

Can I submit a resource?

Of course!

If you would like us to consider a resource for the site, please
contact us by emailing primaryscience@learnsci.co.uk

Leaf identification

There are so many different types of trees around us and they all have different leaves. Print this activity sheet and take it outside to become a super spotter!

How many trees can you identify?

Skill Level:

This is a nice simple leaf identification sheet from the Woodland Trust Nature Detectives. The link also has a 30 second video to inspire your students to go out and get some leaves.

Woodland Trust Nature Detectives is it a great site with a searchable bank of nature based activity sheets. They are clearly marked with the age suitability.

Why not follow on from the leaf ID sheet with their fact sheet on why leaves change colour?
